Movie night on the church lawn!

The Hundred-Foot Journey

The Hundred-Foot Journey is about how the hundred-foot distance between a new Indian kitchen and a traditional French one can represent the gulf between different cultures and desires.  A testament to the inevitability of destiny, this is a fable for the ages – charming, endearing, and compulsively entertaining.

You’re invited to bring a bucket of chicken, pizza, sandwiches, or a hamburger and join friends on the lawn at St. Paul to watch the movie on our large, inflatable movie screen. Bring a camp chair, a blanket to sit on, a blow-up mattress, or your favorite velvet chaise lounge chair to comfortably join in the fun of a movie under the stars. Drinks and popcorn provided! The movie is free, but donations are always welcome to offset the cost of viewing rights.

LiveStreaming Technical Operators Needed

We currently depend upon a small pool of technicians to operate our audiovisual equipment and we’d like to have more volunteers involved in the production of our weekly broadcasts. If you think you might be interested in being trained in this technology, we’d like to talk to you. The work is challenging and there is no prior experience required, but a background in radio, TV, or production will be helpful. (Even if you were an A/V nerd in high school!) We have operators who are available to do the training. Our hope is to get enough trained production assistants so the time commitment for any given individual would be lessened.

Sunday Service LiveStreaming

St Paul Streaming Worship Services

We are livestreaming our 10:30 AM Sunday Eucharist every week. The livestream project was made possible through a generous gift from a “snowbird” member from Philadelphia who wintered in Palm Springs for many years and worshiped at St. Paul’s every Sunday. You can view the livestream on our Home Page, YouTube Channel, and Facebook Page.

Missed a service?  Or want to rewatch a liturgy? All our past services are available to watch either on our YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/StPaulintheDesert or on our Facebook timeline: https://www.facebook.com/stpaulinthedesert
